The conference will examine and demonstrate the commitment and capacity of producers and users of bituminous products to advance sustainable practice through the reduced reliance on non-renewable resources, care of the environment and  assist in the sound development of society.

CAPSA conferences have been successfully organised on a regular basis since 1969 and are now recognised as one of the premier events in the calendar of the road sector in South Africa, the southern Africa region and globally. Following the interim conference in 2007 to bring CAPSA in line with 4-yearly conference calendar of events, it is pleasing to announce that the next conference will be held in the heart of the scenic Drakensberg mountains of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa at the prestigious Champagne Sports resort from 11 – 14 September 2011.

The format of the Conference will move back to the traditional CAPSA format, through a call-for-papers for formal review and bulletin papers for publication in the conference proceedings.

The Conference will also provide opportunity for the industry to exhibit there products and expertise through formal exhibition that will be associated with the Conference.

All items related to the Conference in terms of submission and acceptance of synopses, submission and acceptance of final papers and registration for the conference will be managed on-line through this web site ..more
